Szczesny stays for a bit longer

After yesterday’s disappointing news that Wojciech Szczesny’s loan spell with Brentford would not be extended, the club have announced that the Pole in goal is staying for a bit longer after all.

Wojciech will now stay with the Bees until the end of the month, and in even more exciting news, we’re still in discussion with Arsenal about extending the deal until the end of the season! As such, Wojciech will be available to line up against Norwich tomorrow at Carrow Road, as well as Tuesday’s match at home to Southampton and next weekend’s trip to Oldham.

I think one word sums this new up: awesome.
